The Plane Jar foundation started with a support group in the year 2018 named “Safe Space”.
With a lot of hard work we have grown it into a bigger and more accessible platform today.
Due to covid the support group has been shifted online and has become accessible to a lot more people.
This support group is facilitated by our member Nikita Shringarpure. She has completed her masters in clinical psychology and is a queer affirmative and trauma informed therapist. She also works as a researcher at various LGBTQIA community organisations.
The issues discussed in our support group are related to abuse, trauma, daily stressors, family problems, relationship problems, self worth and many more.
“Safe Space” is a queer affirmative space and therefore open for any and every individual.
